Therefore, the present article studies changes in the pattern of the ideal age at marriage of girls and boys based on their demographic and socio-economic characteristics. The data have been drawn from the 2004 National Survey of Iranian Cultural Changes and the 2015 National Survey of Iranian Values and Attitudes. The findings show that the average age at marriage of girls and boys has increased by almost one year during this period. The average ideal age at marriage of girls has increased from 20.3 years in 2004 to 21.2 years in 2015 and the average ideal age at marriage of boys has increased from 24.8 years in 2004 to 25.7 years in 2015. The role of different variables have changed over the years but education has always been a key and effective factor in explaining the variation in the ideal age at marriage of both sexes compared to other variables. Job status and socio-economic status did not have an effect in 2004 but they were effective in 2015. Considering the importance of education and employment in the attitude towards marriage in recent years, we need to formulate supportive policies in these two areas in order to change the formation of family and facilitate marriage.<br />  سن ازدواج از عوامل مهم پویایی جمعیت است که بر باروری، مرگ و میر و مهاجرت اثر دارد. از این رو مقاله حاضر به مطالعه تحولات الگوی سن مناسب ازدواج دختران و پسران براساس ویژگی‌های جمعیتی و اقتصادی- اجتماعی پرداخته و از داده‌های پیمایش ملی تحولات فرهنگی ایرانیان در سال 1383 و پیمایش ملی ارزش‌ها و نگرش‌های ایرانیان در سال 1394 استفاده کرده است. یافته‌ها نشان از افزایش میانگین سن مناسب ازدواج دختران و پسران تقریبا به اندازه یک سال طی دو مقطع مورد مطالعه دارد، میانگین سن مناسب ازدواج دختران از 3/20 سال در 1383 به 2/21 سال در 1394 و میانگین سن مناسب ازدواج پسران از 8/24 سال در 1383 به 7/25 سال در 1394 رسیده است. سهم متغیرهای اثرگذار طی این سال‌ها تغییر کرده، اما تحصیلات همواره عاملی کلیدی و موثر در تبیین تحولات سن مناسب ازدواج دو جنس نسبت به دیگر متغیرها بوده است. وضع شغلی و پایگاه اقتصادی-اجتماعی در سال 1383 اثری نداشته، اما در سال 1394 متغیری اثرگذار بوده‌اند. بنابراین، با توجه اهمیت تحصیلات و اشتغال در نگرش به ازدواج در سال‌های اخیر، به منظور ایجاد تحول در تشکیل خانواده و تسهیل ازدواج نیازمند تنظیم سیاست‌های حمایتی در این دو حوزه هستیم. https://www.jpaiassoc.ir/article_250849_bf6b31db2c9c7b85ed9921ee096a3af3.pdf
