Such migration is mainly done to increase the quality of life as a response to inter-regional inequalities. This study tries to answer the question of whether the migration affects the quality of life. The target population includes the heads of migrant families from Kouhdasht county living in Shahr-e-Ghods and their counterparts in the the country. The required information was obtained through a questionnaire using the survey method. Using the random sampling method, 400 households (200 migrants and 200 non-migrants) were selected. In order to test the research hypotheses, statistical techniques of t-test, chi-square and multivariate regression were applied. The results show that migrant families, on the whole, have a relatively better quality of life than their non-migrant counterparts. Those with less education and unemployed individuals have reported a higher quality of life. Inequality in the social and economic amenities between the two regions and differences in the social and economic characteristics of migrants and non-migrants are the main explanatory factors. الگوی کلی مهاجرت در کشورهای در حال توسعه، مهاجرت از مناطق کمتر توسعه‌یافته به مناطق توسعه‌یافته‌تر است. چنین مهاجرتی عمدتا در پاسخ به نابرابری‌های بین مناطق، در جهت ارتقاء کیفیت زندگی، انجام می‌گیرد. این مطالعه در پاسخ به این سوال است که آیا مهاجرت تغییری در کیفیت زندگی، در مقایسه با مبدا، ایجاد می‌کند؟ جامعه آماری پژوهش، سرپرستان خانواده‌های مهاجر کوهدشتی ساکن در شهر قدس تهران و سرپرستان خانواده‌های غیر مهاجر همتای آن‌ها ساکن در شهرستان کوهدشت را در بر گرفته است. اطلاعات مورد نیاز با استفاده از روش پیمایش و با ابزار پرسشنامه بدست ‌آمده است. با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی، 400 خانوار (200 نفر مهاجر و 200 نفر غیرمهاجر) انتخاب شدند. جهت بررسی فرضیات تحقیق از آزمون های آماری T، آزمون کی‌دو و رگرسیون چندمتغیره استفاده شده است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که خانواده‌های مهاجر در مجموع از کیفیت زندگی نسبتاً مطلوب‌تری نسبت به همتایان غیرمهاجر خود برخوردار بوده­اند. افراد دارای تحصیلات کمتر و غیرشاغل، کیفیت زندگی بالاتری را گزارش کرده‌اند. نابرابری در امکانات اقتصادی و اجتماعی دو منطقه و تفاوت در ویژگی‌های اقتصادی و اجتماعی مهاجران و غیرمهاجران تبیین‌کننده اصلی این تفاوت‌ می‌باشند. https://www.jpaiassoc.ir/article_243923_09972ed6175df41f402d7874a3e9a4a5.pdf
